Why do you need my passport copy?
In order to comply with Dubai law, we require passport copies of every guest ahead of your stay. These have to be submitted to the government and it is mandatory, much like if you were staying in a hotel. Your data will be kept securely.
Is my stay legal?
In Dubai, vacation home rental is a highly regulated industry, and is illegal unless the home has its own permit and is managed by a licensed operator or property owner. Our company is licensed by the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in Dubai, number is 745711. We are licensed to manage and rent out vacation homes for any period from one night to 364 nights.
Will I be met at the property?
We normally operate self-Check In but we would be delighted to meet you at the property if you would prefer. You can let us know at any time and we’ll be there!
Can I check in on my own?
Ahead of your stay, we will provide you with all of the information you need to get to the property and let yourself in if you would prefer to DIY. Each property has a key safe (MasterLock) that holds the key with a combination lock to access it. We will send you an email ahead of your arrival with the instructions for your Check In and the code for the MasterLock.
What time is Check In?
Check In time is from 02:00 PM local time (GMT+4) onwards.
What time is Check Out?
Check Out time is at 11:00 AM local time (GMT+4) or earlier.
Can I check in early?
Early Check In is not guaranteed. If the apartment is booked the night before your stay, the Check In time will be 02:00 PM, unless the previous guest has checked out early and we are able to clean the property to an adequate standard in time for your proposed arrival. If is has not been booked the night before your arrival, you will be notified 24 hours before your stay whether an early Check In will be possible. An additional cost of AED150 for early Check In will be collected.
Can I have a late Check Out?
Late Check Out is not guaranteed. If the apartment is booked the night after your stay, Check Out time will be 11:00 AM.
If not, you will be notified 24 hours before your stay that it is possible. Additional charges apply.
Can I check in late?
It is not a problem to Check In late! All of our apartments’ Security desks and villas’ Security gates are open 24/7.
Where can I store my luggage?
If you don’t want to carry your luggage with you all day we can arrange for you to drop your bags at the airport and they can be delivered to the property when you Check In.
Alternatively we can arrange for them to be collected from the property and delivered to the airport for you to pick up when it is time to check into your flight.
The cost is AED99 for the first bag and AED40 for each subsequent bag.
How can I get information about the property?
We will send you the property guide after your booking is confirmed and we have received your passport copies.
What is your Refund Policy?
There will be no refund once you decided to cancel your booking reservation.
Can I extend my stay?
If the property is not booked why not! But you will need to let us know 24 hours before your Check Out Date.
Can I have visitors to the property?
Visitors are definitely welcome as long as they will not stay overnight. Passport copies of all guests staying at the apartment must be submitted at the time of booking. There are no exceptions to this rule

Can I have a party?
Under no circumstances are you allowed to host a party at any of our properties. The laws in Dubai about hosting events in private property are very strict. Residential communities also have strict rules about anti-social behaviour, all of which are heavily enforced by the on-site security team. Guests who violate this rule will find themselves in a lot of trouble with the authorities, which will be outside of our control.
Can I bring my pet?
Most of our property owners do not allow pets but we will always double check with them on your behalf. We usually charge an additional fee to cover the extra cleaning, and a higher deposit due to the increased risk of accidental damage.
Can I play music?
All of our property is in a residential community or building, playing music is fine as long it is not disturbing other tenants/neighbour.
What are the extra fees I need to pay?
Aside from the total amount from the nightly rate, exclusive of Dubai tourism fee, which is always paid separately from the nightly rate and is calculated AED 10 per room and per night rate, exclusive of one-time cleaning fee, depending on which type of property you will be renting.
Can I make changes to my booking?
If you would like to change your booking details (ex. dates or the number of guests), you should contact us to discuss your requested changes. We reserve the right to accept or reject any changes depending on the availability of the property.
How can I pay for my reservation?
We accept all major credit cards. We also accept bank transfers, Paypal, cheques made out to Sama Sama Holiday Home Rentals LLC or local currency cash.
Can I make a reservation and pay later?
In order to secure your booking we must receive full payment up front. We will block your dates for 24 hours from your initial enquiry to give you enough time arrange payment. For stays longer than one month we would accept 50% at the time of booking and 50% upon Check In.
